This upcoming stunning new release for The Last of Us has been revealed, and it’s a must-own for passionate fans of the series.

When The Last of Us was first released in 2013 on the PlayStation 3, it pushed this then seven-year-old console to its absolute limits, in terms of both visuals and performance. Developers Naughty Dog practically achieved an ungodly miracle.

However, what was more captivating than the visuals and performance of The Last of Us was its unique take on the post-apocalypse, its harsh new world, and the relationships between its characters, in particular, the father-daughter-like bond between Ellie and Joel.

The Last of Us is rightly considered to be one of the greatest video games of all time, as reflected by its Metacritic score of 95 from critics and 9.2 from users. It more than earned the “Must-Play” accolade.

A Stunning New The Last of Us Release Arrives in 2026

If the 2020 sequel, The Last of Us Part II, as well as the remasters, remake and TV series aren't enough cordyceps virus goodness for you, then you might want to check out this beautiful anthology book from Tune & Fairweather.

“Look for the Light: The Last of Us Anthology is a wide-ranging collection of writing exploring how The Last of Us became one of the defining stories of modern games, television and popular culture,” reads the description of the book.

“The book gathers essays, interviews and critical dispatches from writers who examine the series from every angle: craft, character, music, place, faith, adaptation and survival. The volume includes two interviews with the game’s director, Neil Druckmann, neither of which has ever appeared in print before.”

Look for the Light: The Last of Us Anthology Details

Look for the Light: The Last of Us Anthology is 17cm by 25cm in size, has a three-quarter bound, over 300 pages, a gorgeous slip case and more. It costs £80/$107 with added shipping, which does seem expensive at first, but I doubt any passionate fan of the series would regret adding this to their collection.

The publisher of this book has also released some fantastic anthologies for the likes of Elden Ring, Bloodborne and more. Tune & Fairweather looks like it provides high-quality products that fans seem to appreciate.

According to the Look for the Light: The Last of Us Anthology store page, the intended release is towards the end of this year, but there’s no set-in-stone release date at the time of writing.
