The Last Of Us returns in stunning new release

And it'a not the last either...

The Last Of Us is one of PlayStation’s hottest IPs at the moment, and it’s about to get even hotter when the second season of the HBO show comes out.

Following the second season fans will likely be looking ahead to The Last Of Us Part 3, and discussions have already begun over who they’d like to see as the new, or returning, protagonist.

Take a look at the trailer for The Last Of Us Part II Remastered below

It’s going to be a while before we get that far though, so in the meantime PlayStation has released a spectacular update for The Last Of Us Part II Remastered.

The update is for those who own the newly released PS5 Pro, which allows for enhanced visuals and framerates on a variety of first-party games, provided you’ve got the right TV to soak in the graphics.

The Last Of Us Part II Remastered is the latest title to get this treatment, and you can now enjoy the game with all of the advanced features the PS5 Pro brings with it.

That’s unfortunately all the PS5 Pro does though, leading many to question why the console needed to exist in the first place.

Again if you don’t have a compatible TV the visual effects won’t pop as they’re supposed to, and if you already own a PS5 there’s really no reason to get one, unless you were eying up the 30th anniversary edition before they all sold out…

Nevertheless fans of The Last Of Us will likely get a kick out of this update, as the game is already one of the best-looking games on the platform, this update just makes it look a little bit nicer.

God knows how good The Last Of Us Part 3 is going to look, especially if it’s a launch title for the PlayStation 6 as rumours have it.
