The year is almost at an end and with 2026 just around the corner, what better way to celebrate a new beginning than by diving into a free game courtesy of PlayStation?

Not only that but if you are a trophy/achievement hunter and want to get one final completion under your belt before the new year, this free release will reward you with just that.

So, if you want to see out 2025 with not just a free game, but one of the easiest Platinum trophies ever, you will want to check out Colouring Book.

As you can probably guess, Colouring Book allows players to, well, colour in a series of pictures, with more to purchase if you so wish.

If you are a fan of colouring or you have a young-one to entertain throughout the Christmas holidays, then this free download is a must-have and it is available on the PlayStation 5 right now.

Despite being a PlayStation 4 title, it also runs on the PS5 and can be found on the PS Store now.

As you will see, the Standard Edition is available for free, whilst the Complete Edition can be purchased for $14.99 with the latter including 373 new images to enjoy.

In the digital colouring book, players will be able to use over 300 colours to paint a series of blank images full of fun and wholesome designs.

There's More If You Want It

Additionally, extra add-on images can be purchased in the style of DLC if you find that you have been bitten by the colouring bug and want more.

Not only that but with the free base game not having too many pictures to enjoy, it makes sense that its developers want you to head onto the DLC.

However, this is not obligatory, of course.

That being said, if you do decide to just stick with the base game of Colouring Book, you will be able to bag yourself a very easy Platinum trophy to add to your completionist shelf.

You can earn the Platinum trophy just by completing the tasks in the base game so you will not need to purchase any of the DLCs afterwards.

Simply by colouring in the various pictures, you will nap that Plat.

Last but not least, Colouring Book supports one to four player co-op and as this is suitable for all the family, it will make for the perfect activity to close out the year with.

So if you want one more freebie to finish out 2025 and you just so happen to be fan of colouring, you will love this PS5 addition which is available to download right now.
