Despite the backlash PlayStation Plus often faces from its fans, this month’s selection of free games has won players over instantly.

It feels like we’ve come a long way since the days of PlayStation Plus getting absolutely roasted by its users.

Granted, dissatisfaction remains, but it’s far more minimal now.

PlayStation Plus’ new free games have dropped, and with it comes a plethora of positive fan reactions.

Yes, positive.

Ready to join Cult of the Lamb?

In fact, they’re so impressed by this month’s selection that the service is being dubbed the “best service in gaming”.

As far as many are concerned, “Game Pass simply cannot compete.”

Cult of the Lamb, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Wild Hearts are just three of the new titles available via Sony’s monthly subscription service.

Seeing as CD Projekt Red is now focused on The Witcher 4, now is the time to play through Geralt’s final adventure.

Although surprising to some, there are those out there who’ve yet to experience the White Wolf’s charms.

“Oh sh*t! The Witcher! I've been wanting to give it a playthrough. Nice!” posted Twitter user Anderson.

The chorus of “amazing games” is a refreshing change of pace after what many have remarked on as “mid months” up until now.

It isn’t just The Witcher that’s wowing fans, it’s the inclusion of a classic franchise, as well.

TimeSplitters has officially returned to us.

Considered a fantastic series that deserved better, fans of these 00s titles will be pleased to see them finally receiving the love they deserve after all these years.

With a games catalogue that’s “been great since January”, those who’ve put off paying for PS Plus may want to reconsider their decision.

New RPGs that subscribers love; a release date for the remastered Until Dawn – it’s all cracking off for PlayStation.

And we’re so ready for it.
