The latest PlayStation sale is here with the ‘Mid-Year Deals’, and there are plenty of bargains to be had, no matter what you’re into.
Following on from the ‘Days of Play’ promotion, it didn't take Sony long to swing back into gear and offer us a plethora of epic deals on the PlayStation Store. Whether you’re into major AAA releases or indie darlings, there’s just about something for everyone.
The PlayStation ‘Mid-Year Deals’ sale has well over 3,000 discounts to choose from, which, understandably, would be one hell of a task for you to go through them all to see if there’s a game that piqued your interest months ago or perhaps even a game that you know little about, but fancy taking a punt once in a while. Either way, we’ve got you covered with some of the best deals available.
You have plenty of time to take advantage of these deals, because the Mid-Year Deals promotion ends on 1 July 2026. However, if there’s a good chance that a particular deal might slip your memory, it’s best to make a timely purchase, just in case. You will also need to subscribe to PlayStation Plus to take advantage of these discounts.
If you’re looking for a game that is all about relaxing, then ABZÛ is the perfect game for you. Created by the same developers who brought us Journey, this is just about the most zen game you’ll ever play.

To say that 2014’s Alien: Isolation is one of the scariest video games of all time is an understatement. You don’t even have to be a fan of the Alien movie franchise to appreciate and be scared witless by his nerve-shattering and terrifying game.
Taking place 15 years after the events of Ridley Scott’s Alien, you play as Amanda Ripley’s daughter, Ellen, who is investigating the whereabouts of her mother. Her investigation leads her to the semi-abandoned Sevastopol Station, home of some crazed humans and out-of-control synthetic androids. Oh, and an oversized, 8ft Xenomorph alien that learns and adapts to your behaviour.
If you know next to nothing about the Alien movie franchise, but love horror, all you need to know here is that you have a terrifying alien that relentlessly hunts you, claustrophobic environments to explore, scarce resource management, as well as fantastic visuals and soundtrack to boot. This version of the game also includes all previously released DLC, and is the perfect preparation for the confirmed Alien: Isolation 2.
Developed by the indie studio that brought us The Finals, ARC Raiders is not only one of the best multiplayer games to release in 2025, but it’s also one of the best games of that year, across all genres.
ARC Raiders is an extraction shooter with a simple concept. You enter the map, gather as much loot as humanly possible and escape the map with said loot. However, there are some major obstacles, and the menacing robotic enemies should be the least of your worries.
Don’t trust the human players; they want what you’ve got, or at least, the ‘DTA’ approach is the best way to stay alive in ARC Raiders. So if you can, play ARC Raiders with a squad of friends, unless you’re a total badass, of course.
If, like many, you jumped into 2023’s Baldur’s Gate 3 with no knowledge of the games that came before, then this enhanced collection is your cup of tea. This collection includes enhanced versions of Baldur’s Gate and Baldur’s Gate II, developed by BioWare with improved visuals, audio and gameplay. Not to mention all previously released expansions.

If you’ve recently been playing IO Interactive’s awesome 007 First Light, then you might want to check out the critically acclaimed Hitman series that came before. Play as Agent 47, the ultimate and perhaps most ruthless assassin in video game history.
However, missions for Agent 47 are never simple, because you’ll have an open sandbox, offering the most creative ways to dispose of your targets. Some methods are brutal, while some are humorous. However, you may find that your approach to taking out a target lands somewhere in between.
Hitman World of Assassination: Deluxe Edition includes the PS5-enhanced versions of the Hitman trilogy from 2016, with a ton of DLC that easily equates to thousands of hours of gameplay.
This collection includes the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3, starring Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield in RE2, and the returning Jill Valentine from the OG RE in its follow-up. These remakes, especially RE2, are amongst the best you’ll ever play, especially if you’re a fan of survival horror.
Built from the ground up using Capcom’s impressive RE Engine, these remakes look visually stunning, they’re even more grotesque, the action is high-octane, and each has so much replayability that you’ll easily get hundreds of hours of gameplay, if you want to. Plus, they’re the perfect games to see what a young Leon was like if your introduction to the series was Resident Evil Requiem.
The Resident Evil: Raccoon City Edition might just be the best bargain on this list!
Ok, so these two games could be considered an acquired taste, given that they are both very faithful remasters of the originals, Shenmue (1999 SEGA Dreamcast) and Shenmue II (the 2002 Xbox version), especially when it comes to what can now be considered somewhat outdated controls.
I know I’m not selling these games too well, but trust me, once you’ve got used to the controls, its charm will soon win you over, and hopefully, you’ll get to appreciate why these action RPGs have been so beloved for over 25 years.
What’s more, with the next-gen enhanced version of Shenmue III on the way, it’s the perfect time to get introduced or reacquainted with Ryo Hazuki's quests to avenge the death of his father, which centres around the mysterious artefact known as the Dragon Mirror. Just get ready to ask a lot about where you might find some sailors.
Hopefully, you’ll find some joy with at least one of the PlayStation bargains mentioned above.
