Having a PlayStation Plus subscription can be the best or worst decision you’ve ever made depending on which batch of games Sony adds to its library each month.

Next month will see six games removed from the PlayStation Plus library and with one much-loved indie title expected to leave, fans are less than happy.

Check out the reveal trailer for Inscryption below!

The game in Inscryption, a roguelike deck-building game which was first released back in 2021 by developer Daniel Mullins Games.

Combining elements of deck-building, escape-room puzzles and even a sprinkle of psychological horror, Inscryption is pretty unique even when it comes to indie games.

“From the creator of Pony Island and The Hex comes the latest mind-melting, self-destructing love letter to video games.

Inscryption is an inky black card-based odyssey that blends the deckbuilding roguelike, escape-room style puzzles, and psychological horror into a blood-laced smoothie.

Darker still are the secrets inscribed upon the cards…”

At the time of writing, Inscryption sits at an ‘overwhemingly positive’ rating on Steam based on over 119k reviews so it is safe to say that this is a game you will want to hurry and play before it is removed from the PS Plus library next month.

Upon hearing that this was one of the titles set to get the chop in June, fans were less than pleased but still encouraged others to check it out.

“Everyone try Inscryption.

It may be a surprise, the actual game is less than 15h,” user Shakettsu said over on r/PlayStation Plus.

User OMGlenn had quite the journey with the indie game.

“Aww man! I really loved Inscryption but I stopped playing it, forgot how to play it, and was afraid of relearning the curve, lol,” they shared.

If Inscryption sounds like your kind of game, you have just a few weeks left to grab it before it leaves the PS Plus library.

Otherwise, Inscryption is available on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch.
