PlayStation Plus March free game line-up confirmed

PlayStation Plus' essential tier line-up for March 2024 has now been confirmed.

It’s that time of the month again. PlayStation Plus’ essential tier offerings for March have now been confirmed by Sony.

Before we dive into what’s new, I should remind you that this means you only have a few days left to grab February’s offerings. That includes Rollerdrome, Steelrising, and day one release Foamstars. While it isn’t the greatest multiplayer offering we’ve ever sampled, we did note in our review that “Foamstars shines the brightest when you’re on a call with buddies barking orders, calling for help and chastising each other for throwing a game, all in good spirits, of course.” Those games will remain available to download until 4 March, with the new PlayStation Plus line-up then going live on Tuesday 5 March.

Take a look at Foamstars in action below.

We already know March’s headliner. As correctly leaked by billbil-kun yesterday, this month essential tier subscribers will be able to download Sloclap’s beat em’ up Sifu. That game has now been confirmed to be joined by EA Sports F1 23, Hello Neighbour 2, and Destiny 2: Witch Queen.

Sifu is one I know has been on many people’s wish lists for quite some time now, based on what’s said in the PlayStation Plus subreddit. It’s a great game, boasting a Metacritic score of 81. In our review, we said, “Sifu has layers - and the closer you get to its centre, the more you understand its own structure, what makes it and its many obstacles tick. The closer you get to it, the clearer the details between the deckings.”
