9 Games Leaving PS Plus, Including Adorable Indie and Co-Op Classic

Grab them before it's too late.

Nine new games have been confirmed to be leaving PlayStation Plus Extra later this month.

If you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber, you’ll be used to the vast volume of free games that hit the service over time.

But many of these games are frequently removed from the service, whether that be due to delisted titles, expiring licences, or other issues that result in them being taken offline.

Each month, we generally see around ten or so games leaving PlayStation Plus, with the corresponding titles hitting the Last Chance To Play section so we can get a glimpse at what’s leaving.

The Nine Games Leaving PlayStation Plus Extra In February

As discovered by an Australian user on Reddit, the current games set to leave PlayStation Plus Extra in February are as follows:

  • WWE 2k25
  • New World: Aeternum
  • SaGa Frontier Remastered
  • Cult of the Lamb
  • Super Neptunia RPG
  • The Ascent
  • Carto
  • Rez Infinite
  • Spirit of the North

Out of these picks, New World players are going to be upset to see Aeternum leaving the service.

The game is set to go offline in 2027, so those playing the game via PlayStation Plus will have to buy the game if they want to see it through to the end.

Meanwhile, Cult of the Lamb and The Ascent also have their fans, so it’s a shame to see those games leave the service. Of course, you can also pick the games up by purchasing them from the PlayStation Store if you wish to continue playing.

I'd also say Carto and Spirit of the North are also worth checking out. Both games are around 5-10 hours each, so won't take you long to complete should you decide to pick them up.

You’ll have until mid-February to play these games, at which point they’ll become unavailable to anyone with PlayStation Plus subscriptions.

On the other hand, PlayStation Plus has also released nine new games on the service today, hitting both the Extra and Premium tiers.

The nine new games that subscribers can play are Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Resident Evil Village, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, Darkest Dungeon 2, A Little to the Left, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, The Exit 8, art of rally, and Ridge Racer, with the latter one being only available on Premium.

These games are available from today, 20 January, and will remain on the service until their licences expire.
