As things shuffle around on PlayStation Plus, it seems access to one of the best games of 2024, will soon stop, as the demo is making a brief appearance before being pulled from the service.

This means subscribers don’t have long left to play the trial of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine II, and you’d be missing out of a great time.

Following the launch of the game, players eagerly stomped their way across hostile alien planets, laying waste to tyranids and heretical space marines.

With plenty of crunchy combat, visceral impact of bullets and blades, and lots of blood spattering the environment, Space Marine II became a huge hit.

Since then, through various updates, the game has only expanded, bringing in more and more fans, some of who are completely new to the Warhammer 40K universe.

If you’ve been on the fence about this one, and have an active PlayStation Plus subscription, you’ve got until 20 October to grab your DualSense and give this a bash.

Focus Entertainment took to Twitter to announce that the game trial is for a limited time only, and they go on to reassure players that there’s plenty to sink your chainblade into.

“This demo will give you a first look at the Campaign: Rain of Terror and Skyfire, PVP modes will be playable, and three Operations will be available,” they said in reply to one player.

All classes will be playable, as well as all weapons making an appearance, so you can really see what the game has to offer.

And, should you decide to buy the game after trying it out, all of your demo progress will be carried over to the full game.

As mentioned above, you’ve only got a couple of days to get on this before it’s gone, and we’d recommend getting stuck in.
