We’re days away from the end of October which can only mean one thing. We’re not too far away from finding out November’s PlayStation Plus essential tier line-up.
All in all, October hasn’t been a bad month for PlayStation Plus. Cloud streaming was introduced for premium tier subscribers, as was the Sony Pictures Core catalogue. The essential tier consisted of The Callisto Protocol, Farming Simulator 22, and Weird West. If you’re subscribed to the higher tiers, extra and premium users were then treated to the addition of 15 titles, including Gotham Knights, Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, Alien Isolation, and Dead Island: Definitive Edition. It’s definitely a step in the right direction after a lacklustre few months, and fans are hopeful that November will be yet another step up.
Take a look at The Callisto Protocol in action below. Grab it while you can as a Halloween treat.
If you’re a regular visitor to the r/PlayStationPlus subreddit, you’ll know that a prediction tournament is run every month as subscribers attempt to predict what’s on the way - and you’d be surprised by just how many of the guesses are accurate.

This month’s top guesses include Spyro Reignited Trilogy, Need For Speed Unbound, PowerWash Simulator, The Order: 1886, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, Forspoken, Marvel’s Midnight Suns, and Tunic. All would be major wins. It’s no secret that fans are also keen for God of War Ragnarök and The Last of Us Part II to land on the platform, but I’m dubious as to whether either would actually appear yet.
This is simply a prediction but I’d expect the vast majority of the guessed titles to land on PS Plus sooner rather than later. We’ll certainly share the official line-up when it becomes available midway through next week.
