Announced just today, the PlayStation 5 will be welcoming a bunch of brand-new accessories next month and even better, they will be available in Midnight Black.
The Midnight Black collection includes the PlayStation Portal remote player, DualSense Edge wireless controller, Pulse Explore wireless earbuds and the Plus Elite wireless headset.

“These accessories perfectly complement the Midnight Black PS5 accessories already available, including the DualSense wireless controller and PS5 console covers,” the official blog post reads.
A video showcasing the new collection has been posted to social media and despite its unfortunate timing, you can’t deny that Midnight Black suits the PS5 accessories.
Featuring a unique shade of black with detailing on various buttons as well as the PlayStation logo itself, the Midnight Black collection will be available at the following retail prices:
- PlayStation Portal remote player – Midnight Black: 199.99 USD | 219.99 EURO | 199.99 GBP | 34,980 YEN
- Pulse Explore wireless earbuds – Midnight Black: 199.99 USD | 219.99 EURO | 199.99 GBP | 34,980 YEN

The collection goes live on 20 February with pre-orders opening on 16 January at 10am local time (10am ET in the U.S.) on the official PlayStation website.

It seems as though Sony is catering to the masses with this one so it remains to be seen how well the Midnight Collection will sell in just a few weeks time.
