PlayStation users are some of the lucky few being given a free DLC pack for one of the best zombie survival games ever made.

Dying Light was a breath of fresh air when it launched in 2015, taking a boots in the air approach to survival by having players parkour across rooftops to avoid the hordes beneath.

It was an excellent start to a series still going strong with Dying Light: The Beast, coming later this year.

I have many fond memories of this game, especially since Roger Craig Smith voices the protagonist, and hearing Sonic The Hedgehog’s voice while fighting zombies is an experience to say the least.

Anyway, it’s the game’s 10th anniversary this year to mark the special celebration, Techland has released the first DLC pack in ages for the game, and it’s not one to miss.

It features gold skins for your character, vehicle, and weapons so you can take on the hordes in a dripped-out fit.

The best part? It’s free, no strings attached and PlayStation users need only head to the PlayStation Store to claim their freebie.

It’s available elsewhere too if you haven’t got a PlayStation, including Steam and GOG to name a few places.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is also on PlayStation Plus right now if you haven’t played it. I think a lot of people slept on it when it first launched but after several post-launch updates, it’s a great time and worth trying while you can at no additional cost.

What we’re really excited for is Dying Light: The Beast, which comes out later this year and marks the return of Kyle Crane, the protagonist of the first game.

Roger Craig Smith has returned to once again lend his voice to the role, so we’ll have to see what gory adventures await our thought-to-be-dead hero.
