PlayStation announces your free store credit opportunities for October

If you want to claim easy free store credit to spend on the PlayStation Store as you please this October, then you’re in the right place.

It’s always nice when we can save a bit of money buying the video games that we love or perhaps even a highly anticipated expansion. The PlayStation Store has regular discount sales to save some pennies but you can also save money by joining Sony’s free rewards scheme, PlayStation Stars.

PS Stars rewards you for completing campaigns and will either gift you with a digital collectable to proudly display on your PlayStation mobile app profile or better still, reward points.

These reward points can be spent on more digital collectables or even select free video games, DLC and PlayStation Store credit. It may take a while to accumulate enough reward points to claim £5 or £20 store credit but with a bit of patience and persistence, you’ll get there eventually.

Following the recent announcement of the latest PlayStation Plus games, comes two new PS Stars campaigns that will gift you with a total of 100 reward points. The campaigns are very simple, just load up two games included in PS Plus.

The first PS Stars campaign is called ‘PlayStation Plus Games Catalogue - Mystery Games’ which will grant you 50 reward points for loading up either, Crime Boss: Rocksay City, Resident Evil 2, Disco Elysium - The Final Cut, Inscryption, Control: Ultimate Edition or Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition.

The second campaign which grants you a further 50 reward points is ‘Your PlayStation Plus monthly games await’ and you just need to load up WWE 2K24, Dead Space or Doki Doki Literature Club Plus.

It’s really that simple. But be sure to complete these campaigns ASAP before they’re rotated for next month's PlayStation Plus offerings.
