PlayStation gamers who are owed free store credit should begin claiming it lest they miss out later down the road.

I think everyone will agree that PlayStation Stars has been a mess of late.

The service has never run smoothly, however, it’s amazingly got worse in recent months.

Now that wallet fund rewards have returned to PS Stars, users are being urged to claim that free credit before it goes walkabouts again.

Redditor nolifebr shared the news, “Just a headsup. The option had disappeared for me (as well as for several other people) and returned today.”

In response, Jackstraw1 said, “Five dollar option just came back for me but that’s it. I’ll take it.”

They’re not alone in quickly making use of this freebie.

“Hmmm it’s back for me now too. Immediately spent all my points on wallet funds in case it gets pulled again,” commented gaysaucemage.

Elsewhere on Reddit, another discussion opened up about this PS Stars feature making an unexpected return.

Just like we’ve seen above, they too are making the most of the points while they’re available.

“Definitely using this now because I’ve lost trust in this program,” posted runealex007.

User Omie-Wan-Kenobi remarked, “Never have I redeemed my points this quickly in my life. Finally get to use them.”

As you can see, now is the time to act.

Who knows when the app will remove the feature again without any warning.

With two classic games now freed from PS Plus Premium jail, let's not get too carried away with our criticism, just in case we anger Sony and it takes away these small wins we keep discovering.

Regardless of how you feel about PS Stars, it’s important you get what you’re owed.

Time might not be of the essence in this instance, but it feels like it is.

Just don’t come crying to us if your wallet funds suddenly disappear again.
