PlayStation free store credit up for grabs today if you play these free games

The latest PlayStation Plus campaign has arrived for PS Stars users

You’ll likely have heard me singing the praises of PlayStation Stars before, but that won’t stop me from doing it again.

While, yes, PlayStation Stars isn’t quite as generous nor expansive as the Microsoft Rewards programme, it is still oh so very easy to use to nab free credit.

In fact, I’ve redeemed £10 worth of credit in the last couple of months alone with very minimal effort so naturally, I’m going to help you do the same.

If you’re unaware, PlayStation Stars users earn points on all purchases made on the PlayStation Store.

Handily, this includes PlayStation Plus memberships which can give you a major points boost. My extra tier membership was recently renewed at £99.99, adding 1,000 points to my account.

You only need 1,250 to get that £5 worth of credit. Did you know that you can rack up an easy 50 points per month simply by playing select PlayStation Plus titles?

Helldivers II is available to redeem if you manage to accumulate 10,000 PlayStation Stars points.

PlayStation Stars runs a PlayStation Plus-specific campaign every single month and it’s well-worth taking part seeing as it’s an easy 50 points to secure.

Essentially, you’ll be tasked with playing any one out of a list of several PlayStation Plus games.

There’s no set time requisite. Simply opening up one of the eligible titles is enough to secure the 50 points.

This month, PlayStation Plus users can choose from EA Sports FC 24, Ghostrunner 2, TUNIC, and Destiny 2: Lightfall.

Be warned, you do need to head over to the PlayStation Stars page on the PS app and click ‘start’ on the campaign. Otherwise, your play won’t be tracked.

You may be thinking that 50 points doesn’t sound like a lot but if you’ve made a couple of purchases on the PlayStation Store, those 50 points can be the thing that tips you over the finish line with that sweet free credit as your prize.

If you fancy an alternative, instead of exchanging 1,250 points for £5 worth of credit, you can also grab a Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 costume pack, 300 Genshin Impact Genesis Crystals, or a Genshin Impact Blessing of the Welkin Moon item for the same price.
