Although being a PlayStation Plus member has its benefits, those who are unable to join the service still deserve some freebies and luckily, there is one up for grabs right now.

Courtesy of the free-to-join PlayStation Stars loyalty programme, Sony is giving members the chance to get their hands on an epic in-game item for a limited time.

Check out our review for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth below!

If you didn’t already know, the PlayStation Stars loyalty programme rewards players with points simply by booting up their PlayStations and diving into their games.

Points can be earned by tackling in-game challenges, completing campaigns or making purchases in the PlayStation Store. In return, players will be rewarded with points that can be used in exchange for free store credit. Best of all, it’s completely free to join

This is just one of many achievements available courtesy of the PS Stars programme. Additionally, players also have until the end of May to get their hands on some free store credit and that is achievable just by playing some select titles.
