PlayStation owners are struggling to see the point in a PlayStation 6 as far as games are concerned.
Sony is moving ahead with plans for another console and some of the details have allegedly leaked.
Amongst these leaks has been information regarding different versions of the console, as one will reportedly have a disc-drive already installed whereas another will be all-digital, nothing out of the ordinary there.
The console’s price and specifications have also been leaked and discussed by gamers, but something that hasn’t been getting much attention is the supposed games released for the console.

PlayStation fans are concerned the PlayStation 6’s library of games will be horrendously underwhelming, arguing the PlayStation 5 barely had enough games already.
Responding to the leaks from Kepler2 fans predicted the games that’ll launch for the PlayStation 6 will be nothing we haven’t seen before.
“Nice” said one PlayStation owner, “can't wait to play PS5 games remastered on the PS6.
Other comments quickly piled up with one predicting that one of the big PlayStation 6 releases will be a new version of GTA VI, which seems likely given how the game got an upgrade for Xbox Series X/S and the PlayStation 5.

A common meme that floats around the PlayStation communities involves The Last Of Us, a series that launched for the PlayStation 3 and has only produced two games in that time. No shade to The Last Of Us, I like those games a lot but it is silly how we’ve had three versions of The Last Of Us Part 1 and two versions of The Last Of Us Part 2.
Gamers mocked that the PlayStation 6 will probably remake them both again, and then when The Last Of Us Part 3 comes out we’ll probably have different versions of that game too.
That said it’s not as bad as what’s happening with Xbox. Both the PlayStation 6 and the next Xbox console will allegedly launch in the same year, 2027, but details on the new Xbox suggest it’ll be far more expensive than Sony’s console without all the first-party exclusives.
While a new generation of consoles should be exciting it really doesn’t feel like the current generation has really started, but I guess we’ll wait and see what this new hardware will bring to the industry.
