It appears that Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is set to ditch one of the most controversial aspects of Spider-Man 2.
Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man series comprise some of the best superhero games that you can play, even if some felt the second game’s story was a little less impactful than the first one and its spin-off, Miles Morales.
Altogether though, they’re pretty great games if you’re a fan of Marvel or Spider-Man, and while a second sequel has been teased, nothing concrete has been revealed yet.
However, we have had small glimpses that hint at what the future of the series will be. Some sources suggest that Peter may be less involved in the plot, for example, allowing Miles to take over as the main Spider-Man.

Peter and Miles’ actors Yuri Lowenthal and Nadji Jeter attended Fan Expo Canada last week, where fans could speak to the stars and get their merchandise signed.
One fan was able to ask Jeter about Miles’ Evolved Suit, a new design the character gets towards the end of Spider-Man 2.
Player reception to the suit has been rather negative since its initial appearance, due to it being rather hard on the eyes and the fact it’s essentially an Adidas cross-promotion.
“He doesn’t like the suit either and kind of blames Adidas for it happening,” writes Reddit user JaMoraht. “He also says he thinks since he was growing his hair, the studio thought they should show it, which he thinks ruins the whole secret identity thing.”

The user then goes on to write that Jeter “was pretty sure they were going back to the original suit”.
As with all reports like this, be sure to take this with a grain of salt. With that said, the negative reception to the suit has been very clear over the years since Marvel's Spider-Man 2 released, so it’d be pretty hard to deny that Insomniac Games isn’t listening to this feedback.
The studio is currently busy with Marvel’s Wolverine, but it’s assumed that Spider-Man 3 is also being worked on alongside that.
