It's shaping up to be a good one

Although it has not yet been officially confirmed, rumours point at Marvel's Spider-Man 3 being on the horizon and one of its stars has some high hopes for the next instalment.

Kicking off back in 2018 with Marvel’s Spider-Man before being followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the Insomniac Games series featured around our two favourite web-slingers has been a hit.

Check out the launch trailer for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 below!

So it is no surprise that fans are holding on to the rumours that a third instalment is currently in the works.

Despite the third entry not yet receiving an official announcement, it seems pretty likely, especially as Miles Morales’ star Nadji Jeter recently spoke out about the future of the PlayStation series.

In an interview with The Direct at FanExpo Vancouver 2025, Jeter was asked about what he would like to see both Miles and Peter get up to in a potential Marvel’s Spider-Man 3.

“I want to fight the Green Goblin,” he said.

Although Green Goblin has not yet appeared in the Insomniac Games’ series, his appearance has been hinted at so this exciting cameo seems pretty likely.

Talk then turned to the rumour that Miles Morales will play an even bigger part in the third instalment following rumours that Yuri Lowenthal’s Peter will take more of a supporting role.

"Miles is always going to need Peter Parker, no matter what,” Jeter explained.

“No matter what it is. He is kind of like his Yoda.

So, he is always going to need his wisdom and his guidance no matter how the world may turn. Also, good guys always need a break sometimes.

You never know what will happen. The world is crazy out there. So if it needs both of our assistance, then we will show up.

But if my big bro needs a breather, I [Miles] is ready to go."

Not only that but it has been rumoured that the iconic Silk will feature in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 after she was teased at the end of the second game.

As yet another web-slinger, Cindy/Silk is another teenage vigilante who was bitten by a radioactive spider and will definitely make an exciting addition to the Spider-Man gang.

Hopefully we will find out more when Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 is finally announced.
