This week saw Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 receive an update which made changes to something that only eagle-eyed superhero fans would be able to spot.

It is hard to believe that it is already coming up to a year since Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was released for the PlayStation 5.

Check out our preview of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 below!

As a direct sequel to both Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the entry saw both Peter Parker and Miles Morales team up to take down some familiar enemies.

We at GAMINGbible loved the Insomniac Games title.

Our review read: “This is an amazing fantasy come to life and realised like never before. Insomniac Games has crafted yet another heartfelt Spider-Man story bursting with twists, turns, and show-stopping spectacle.”

Now the latest update for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has made a few tiny changes to the web-slinging adventure and some eagle-eyed fans have already discovered them.

According to Insomniac’s home page, Peter Parker’s suit from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been slightly modified to change the soles from red to black.

This is in an effort to better represent the suit from the movie.

Thanking the community for recommending this change, Insomniac also revealed that the recent update addressed issues with other in-game suits such as Spider-Man's Last Stand and Webbed variants which had some clipping troubles.

The update also addressed simple stability and bug fixes as well as working on a commonly reported crash.

However, this is about all the recent patch notes for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 included.

As for what is next, fans of the sequel are hoping they will see some DLC content added to the game soon.

With Marvel’s Spider-Man receiving a three-part DLC, we hope this will also be the case for the much-loved successor title.
