Halo is almost definitely coming to the PlayStation 5; it’s a matter of when, not if, and fans are more than okay with that.
Let’s be honest, console wars is a stupid concept anyway. It’s always better when everyone can play the same stuff which is why it’s oddly nice to see more and more Xbox games coming to PlayStation.
Now the Gears Of War series is coming to PlayStation 5, starting with the first game.
While many have called the Gear Of War remaster a weird move considering it could have been the whole trilogy, it’s gone down pretty well and it’s a great way of getting hyped for the next game, Gears Of War: E-Day, which will probably be a PlayStation game as well now.

It’s also sparked another discussion about Halo appearing on PlayStation consoles in the near future, with a Reddit thread about Gears Of War: Reloaded saying that “Halo on PS5 is all but inevitable".
Fans agreed, with the consensus being split between it being the worst thing Xbox could do and the best thing for Halo’s success as a series.
One comment said, “Ouya’s gonna outperform the next-gen Xbox's sales at this rate,” and for those who don’t know what the Ouya is, best to keep it that way.
Another user said, “Honestly, I welcome it at this point. It feels blasphemous to say, but it’s the best chance at the next mainline Halo game being a successful arena shooter. You’ll have PlayStation players who will get it because it’s the first Halo game they can get on their platform.”

Personally, I’m all for PlayStation fans getting a go at Halo. It’s one of my favourite series so, in my opinion, the more people that get to experience it, the better.
In the meantime, check out Gear Of War: Reloaded if you haven’t already, it’s launching on 26 August later this year.
