But for those who want a massive overhaul, that’s when you turn to free downloads like The Witcher 3: Eternal Hunt, a mod brimming with “new animations, scenes, enemies, items, armour, weapons, lore, effects, pseudo-quests, and much, much more”.

Arguably, the most unique aspect of Eternal Hunt is the specialisations each Witcher school receives, thus making for a tailored experience to your style of gameplay and choices. Alongside this awesome feature, there’s also a stealth mode that makes for seriously stealthy attacks from dear ol’ Geralt.
It’s an incredible overhaul, yet the modder behind it sees it as so much more. “While EH [Eternal Hunt] can be considered an ‘overhaul’, it is an overhaul unlike any other. It is designed to be as merge-friendly with other mods as possible, and is compatible with other overhauls as well,” revealed the modder, for those anxious to learn how their other mods will fare.
There are some exceptions to that compatibility, though, which is why a full read of the download is advised before you start on your journey with Geralt into Eternal Hunt. As this is a fairly new mod, a lot of work is being done behind the scenes to keep it going. However, initially experiences bode well for those looking for an eternal adventure with everyone’s favourite, gravelly voiced monster hunter.
