This new expansion for a popular entry in The Elder Scrolls series has left us feeling hyped, to say the least.
No matter the entry in the popular Bethesda series, you can’t go much wrong with The Elder Scrolls. Despite what limitations or benefits each console generation may bring, there are always epic adventures, interesting NPCs to interact with and memorable missions that will stay with you for a lifetime.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may be the most popular entry in the series, given the fact that it’s released on every console generation since 2011, but the upward trajectory of the series did not begin with this particular RPG.
I’d argue the case that it began even before 2006’s The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which benefited from a fantastic remaster earlier this year. I’d say that people really began to take notice of this series in 2002, following the release of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

As brought to our attention by GamesRadar, the indie development team has been working on the Morrowind mod, ‘Tamriel Rebuilt’, for longer than the game has been out.
Development for‘Tamriel Rebuilt’ is said to have begun in 2001, two years before the release of Morrowind. The first iteration of the expansion arrived in 2006.
The most recent expansion to ‘Tamriel Rebuilt’ is ‘Grasping Fortune’, which is said to be the developers' most ambitious project yet. However, its next addition to the mod promises to be even bigger and better.
The team's next project is ‘Poison Song,’ and the developers intend to add new content that was initially cut out of the base game by Bethesda.

“Grasping Fortune, our biggest and most ambitious expansion to date, is now done and dusted. So, we at Tamriel Rebuilt have in recent months turned most of our attention towards the next upcoming expansion – Poison Song,” reads an update. “Long-time followers will know that this, for the first time, means a joinable House Indoril.”
Without this mod, it would not have been possible for players to join House Indoril in Morrowind, one of the five Great Houses of the Dunmer. So to say that this feature has been a long time coming is an understatement.
‘Poison Song’ is said to have begun its development in 2021, and its arrival appears to be imminent. “Overall, the pace is good on all fronts and finalisation of the expansion is expected to be a matter of months away,” teased the developers.
