Getting to watch your children grow up is one of life’s greatest gifts and thanks to this free download, doing so is now possible in Stardew Valley.

First released in 2016, Stardew Valley has cemented itself as one of the greatest farming simulation games of all time but fans will agree that it is so much more.

Check out the trailer for Stardew Valley below!

Yes, you can build your ideal farm and homestead but you can also explore the village, meet the townsfolk, collect mysterious items and of course, meet the love of your life.

One such romanceable NPC is Sterling, a valley-born man who is a hopeless flirt who is battling an addiction to alcohol.

However, now wanting to turn over a new leaf, he is a possible spouse for your Stardew Valley character and if certain conditions are met, they can go on to have children together.

That being said, the children will indeed remain children and not too much other than exist but this free download by Himetarts over on Nexus Mods completely overhauls your little ones.

The Always Raining in the Valley Kids is a PC mod which aims to turn your children with Sterling into fully-fledged NPCs.

The mod also features over 150+ brand-new lines of dialogue for Sterling as well as years worth of randomised dialogue for your children.

Your children will consist of one son and one daughter, each with their own unique personalities.

Your daughter is a precocious young girl with a love of adventure. When she is not terrorising her brother and father, she dreams of becoming an engineer and pursuing her love of all things mechanical and scientific.

On the other hand, your son is quiet and has a gentle disposition. He has boundless compassion to give to the world and has been gifted with a poetic streak. One day he may just feel comfortable to share it with others.

Always Raining in the Valley Kids is free to download for those who own Stardew Valley on PC so don’t miss out if you want even more content to explore.
