Star Wars Outlaws is the next video game adaptation offering gamers adventures in a galaxy far, far away with plenty of secrets to be discovered in its huge open world.

However, one secret, in particular, is not found on the various planets of Star Wars Outlaws but instead can be found hidden within the game settings and as long as you have a capable PC, it will make this action-adventure from Massive Entertainment all the more lush.

In our review of Star Wars Outlaws, we said: “If you’re a fan of Star Wars, I’m confident the game will impress you, but if you’re familiar with the work Ubisoft has done in the past, it might feel a bit too safe for your liking.”

That being said, it’s not all sunshine and roses for the latest Star Wars video game, because thanks to bugs, Ubisoft has informed players to delete saves to accommodate a new update. Meaning, that no matter how far gamers are in the campaign, if you paid for early access, all your progress will be lost to avoid being progression-locked in the current run.

It seems that the requirement to delete current saves for the new update is specific to PlayStation 5 so while not ideal whatsoever, at least PC and Xbox Series X/S gamers should not be affected. Thankfully, we do have some good news, at least for PC gamers.

As brought to our attention by the Twitter user and Star Wars content creator A7ZATRU, a secret setting is available on PC that unlocks an ‘Outlaw’ graphics setting which surpasses ‘Ultra’

Star Wars Outlaws has a secret settings preset called OUTLAW. Type -unlockmaxsettings in launch arguments to unlock it.

It futureproofs the game with even better graphics. Nvidia's framegen helps with performance rn too.

“Star Wars Outlaws has a secret settings preset called OUTLAW. Type “unlockmaxsettings” in launch arguments to unlock it,” A7ZATRU tweeted. “It future proofs the game with even better graphics. Nvidia's Frame Gen helps with performance right now too.”

Obviously, you will need a beast of a PC to run the ‘Outlaw’ setting to an acceptable level but it's a nice additional option to have nonetheless.

Star Wars Outlaws is out now on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
