There are very few complaints that people have about Red Dead Redemption 2 with the 2018 title widely regarded as one of the best of all time.

However, when it comes to ragdoll physics, the Rockstar title seemingly has a lot to be desired.

Check out the launch trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 below!

That is according to YGBRO over on Nexus Mods, at least.

As a result, they have created the (U.E.R.B) Ultimate Euphoria Ragdoll Behaviour WIP mod.

“Have you ever thought the RDR2 ragdoll physics were wonky and bad?” the mod asks. "Well this mod fixes that with a touch of a vanilla feel!”

They continued: “Ever since I saw and tried the original RDR2 physics, I was totally heartbroken - but this mod fixes everything! It completely changes that ragdoll behaviour with a more natural, slower feel while still keeping what was cool about the vanilla physics.”

As a result, this free-to-download mod for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC will make characters react to physics in a more realistic way.

This means that they will fall backwards when shot and maybe even break the objects around them.

This mod is so detailed that each death will look different, with the character reacting to the environments in unique ways.

More specifically, bodies will fly through the air, react differently depending on which part of the body is shot, will ragdoll for longer, and even their body types will affect how their physics react.

For example, those running whilst shot will continue with the momentum for a while and larger NPCs will fall differently to smaller ones.

Every area of physics has been considered with the U.E.R.B mod and despite it being uploaded just a few days ago, it has already garnered almost 500 unique downloads.

So if you want Red Dead Redemption 2 to be even more realistic, this mod is not one to miss out on.
