To celebrate the Christmas period, Epic Games continues to host daily freebies which sees some previously released titles becoming available for a 24-hour period.

Up until now, Hogwarts Legacy and Jotunnslayer: Hordes of Hel have been available to download for a limited time but now, each day will welcome a brand-new title so you had better hurry if you wish to grab your chosen titles.

Now Epic Games has revealed that Eternights is the next title to be made available for free for the next 24-hours.

First released in 2023, Eternights is a dating sim/action RPG title from developer Studio Sai and will task you with making the most out of life during an apocalypse.

Whilst you might go on a date on a Monday, you could be clearing dungeons on a Thursday and so you never know what your next step will be in this unique take on the RPG genre.

Blending a love-story with adrenaline-pumping combat, you will have to do everything it takes to scavenge supplies, explore dungeons, beat monsters, and most importantly, spend the time to go on some exciting dates.

After all, who says that the apocalypse has to interrupt your dating life?

“One day, something, or someone, has turned humans into dangerous monsters,” the Epic Games synopsis reads.

“All that interests them now is violence and power. They are what stand between you, a cure, and the world you want.

Most importantly? You’re fighting for more than just your own survival – you are fighting for those you love.”

Who Said Romance Was Easy?

With five characters available to romance, you will have to make sure you choose the right person. Additionally, getting to know your romantic suitors can even unlock unique skills which you showcase in your next dungeon crawl.

However, with each day having a deadline, there is only so much that you can fit in 24-hours and so you will have to manage your time expertly in order to find love and beat those monsters.

“Will you grow closer to your confidant in order to deepen your relationship and unlock new skills? Will you scavenge the wasteland for supplies? Will you grow stronger by training with your companions?

Or will you ignore all of that and go to the dungeon the first chance you get? It’s up to you, but remember, the clock is ticking.”

With fully-animated 2D cutscenes, Eternights will sometimes feel more like a movie than a video game and better yet? It is completely free to download and keep forever for the next 24-hours before Epic Games releases the next major freebie.
