The Epic Games Store’s free game line-up has been refreshed.

Yes, it’s time to nab two more free games on PC which, this week, will save you over $30 in total. Both titles are available for just under one week.

Let’s begin with the cheaper of the duo.

Grab a Visual Novel and a Sci-Fi MMO For Free on The Epic Games Store

Return to Ash is an indie that typically retails for $5.99, although you can currently redeem it for free until 26 February.

Developed and published by Serenity Forge, this is a narrative-driven visual novel “focuses on emotional storytelling and relationship building”.

“The hospital room she knew is gone. Beyond the window lies a blank, white void that stretches endlessly,” the synopsis reads.

“Instead of the usual aches and pains, she awakens feeling better than she has in years. Is this a dream, or…?”

Players will shape Ashleigh’s journey, exploring the afterlife as their decisions determine how the story ends.

You’ll be able to forge bonds with NPCs whilst you also “face impossible, torturous trials from a masked being who calls themself Death”.

It should take you approximately two to four hours to roll credits, so it won’t harm your backlog too much.

The second game on offer is STALCRAFT: X Starter Edition which usually retails for $24.99, also available until 26 February.

Developed and published by EXBO, STALCRAFT: X is actually a free-to-play sci-fi MMO.

Set inside the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone, it allows players to explore a world filled with mutants and anomalies, which you can either do alone or with friends.

What sets the pricey Starter Edition apart is that it’ll allow you to start the game with some nifty bits of gear.

It includes the following:

  • Seven days of Premium
  • Military Issued FN SCAR-L
  • Aurora-B Jumpsuit
  • Classic M9
  • Sports Bag
  • Ice Hedgehog (115%)
  • Battery (115%)
  • Hexagon-C camouflage (for weapon)
  • Hexagon-C camouflage (for armour)
  • Follower Skin
  • Pouch of 5.56 mm (10 units)
  • Injector (25 units)
  • Pouch of Military First-Aid Kits (10 units)
  • Jiden EXTRA Energy Drink (15 units)
  • American MRE (15 units)
  • Desperol (15 units)

That should make your early adventures within the game that much easier.

As an MMO, STALCRAFT: X is what you make of it. Players have racked up hundreds or even thousands of hours.

As I said, you only have until 26 February when the line-up will refresh again at 8am PST / 4pm GMT.
