Baldur’s Gate 3 allows you to live out your fantasy dream by offering the player the chance to take on various roles amongst various classes.

That was definitely the inspiration behind Oath of the Songbird, a brand-new mod for Baldur’s Gate 3.

Created by bluejoe1, this free download adds a subclass to the Paladin class, allowing you to experience the creator’s “homebrewed version” of the vanilla class.
The Oath of the Songbird class will see players “become a knight of the Seventh Verse — a hero whose faith is melody, whose courage is art, and whose legend will be sung for ages.
Some knights believe in gods, their ideals, or crave for more - but at their heart, they flourish where there is song.”
Inspired by music and song, Oath of the Songbird features its very own lore created by the user with its origin beginning with the legend of the nameless poet who became a knight.
“On his long and perilous journey, he toppled tyrants, freed towns from despair, and drew to his side warriors, artists, and dreamers alike — those who believed in his vision of love as valor, and beauty as faith,” the story continues.
To this day, the Knights of the Seventh Verse wander far and wide and are known as the Songbirds and this is where you come in.
Following three important tenets: freedom, fellowship, and legend, the Oath of the Songbird Paladins will be able to “weave divine power through melody and story”.
This includes spells such as Dissonant Whispers, Hypnotic Pattern, Planar Binding, Dominate Person, and many more.
Oath of the Songbird for Baldur’s Gate 3 is free to download for PC players and is the perfect way to add even more of a story to your next playthrough.
Uploaded just yesterday, this mod has already garnered multiple downloads but it deserves so much more.
