A brand new mod for Grand Theft Auto V is looking to improve the enhancements Rockstar Games have already made to the game’s “Enhanced Edition”, which I guess makes it the Enhanced Edition of the Enhanced Edition?
Even with Grand Theft Auto VI’s release looming in the distance, Rockstar Games still isn’t done with Grand Theft Auto V.
The “Enhanced Edition” of the game that released on PC added a whole slew of new graphical improvements that can’t be found in any other version of the game, and they even updated it to include “Enhanced Lighting Enhancements” including “high resolution ray traced reflections” earlier this month.

However, one modder has decided that these improvements needed some, uh, improvements, so they’ve taken it upon themselves to add even more graphical enhancements to Rockstar Games’ latest version of GTA V.
As detailed in an article by Wccftech’s Francesco De Meo, the latest RealityV mod for Grand Theft Auto V’s Enhanced Edition, version 3.1, is now live, and it looks incredible.
As the mod author notes, the new edition of the mod now includes “support for the latest version of 5 Enhanced”, including “8K milky way stars” and “new colour correction”.
So, how do you download this one for yourself?

Well, while it does seem like the mod is still free, you do have to jump through some hoops to get it.
For instance, you’ll have to sign up for the mod’s Patreon page to gain access to the download link. From what I can tell, it’s completely free to do so– it’s just walled behind a free subscription, for some reason.
But honestly, given how incredible this mod looks, that seems like a small price to pay.
Hard to believe GTA VI is going to look even better than this. 2026 cannot come fast enough.
