Fallout 4 can already be pretty scary thanks to its irradiated ghouls and monstrous Deathclaws but this free download is set to make things even more terrifying.

Bethesda’s Fallout 4 may be celebrating its 10-year anniversary this November but that hasn’t stopped fans from flocking to the hit RPG in their millions.

Which Fallout title should you start with? Check out our comparison video below!

Thanks to the success of Prime Video’s Fallout adaptation this time last year, the Fallout series is bigger than ever so it is no surprise that its modding community has its hands full adding new and exciting content.

One example is Reign of the Tyrants, a free-to-download mod by gutrings on NexusMods.

As you may have already guessed from its name, this mod adds the Tyrants from Capcom’s Resident Evil series to the world of Fallout 4.

Not only will you have brand-new enemies to fight but you will also stumble across new weapons, and more.

“This mod aims to add another class of enemies into Fallout called Tyrants. These terrifying enemies are from the Resident Evil series and appear in many different forms,” the official synopsis reads.

There will be four enemy variants which will make up 50+ Tyrant spawns across the Commonwealth and Far Harbour.

Not only that but you can also search the map to find unique Tyrant bosses to fight (nine in total) as well as new weapons, chems and even syringer ammo to be crafted at a chem bench.

This mod was only made available yesterday but creator gutrings already has plans for the future.

They plan to add Tyrant combat music, improved character meshes, new spawning locations, and rebalances to name but a few.

So if you are a fan of Resident Evil or you just want another challenge in Fallout 4, then the Reign of the Tyrants mod will be perfect for you.
