Cyberpunk 2077 publisher giving away free game, but you have less than 24 hours left

If you’re a PC gamer, it’s likely you’ve used the online storefront GOG, which is run by developer and publisher CD Projekt RED.

You might also know that the kindness of CD Projekt RED runs deep, and they often give away games for you to download and keep.

Another cute but devilishly tough indie can be found with Nine Sols on Xbox Game Pass.

Well, it’s one of those times where you’ll need to get to your PC quickly and get this game added to your account, as the offer only has a few hours remaining.

Oaken is a turn-based tactical roguelike set in a world of spirits where you, as the player, will have to gather allies, items, and trinkets, in order to thwart danger.

With plenty of cute heroes to use, Oaken is an engaging puzzler about placing allies and items on grids to boost each other while battling foes.

Also, available on Steam during the Autumn sale at 60% off, the game is rated as ‘Very Positive’ with many fans enjoying the visual design and the gameplay loop.

You’ll use strategy and tactics in order to progress here and while it can be tricky at first, once you’ve learned the quirks of all the moveable pieces, it’ll fall into place nicely.

In order to claim this game, you simply need to sign in to your GOG account and add the game to your library.

Once there, you can download it and play right away.

It’s even compatible with handheld PCs, using a touchscreen interface to pick up and place pieces on the game board.

I’ve grabbed my copy as it looks to be a nice time with wonderful design and the music in the trailer is sublime.

According to some players, it’s a brief experience which is sometimes a blessing when so many of us have creaking backlogs filled with hundreds of games.
