Bloodborne fans lose it over release we've waited years for

It's finally here, in it's entirety

Bloodborne is finally, finally, available to play in its entirety on PC, and it’s everything we could have ever wanted.

Fans have been waiting for this moment for a long time, and while PlayStation hasn’t done the port itself it still runs beautifully.

The more people that can experience Bloodborne, the better

You may have seen last year the first stages of getting Bloodborne working on PC commenced, and the results were passable. Framerate issues were tedious and only sections of the game worked, but thankfully, those issues have been resolved.

You can now play the full game on your PC provided it’s got the required specs, and even better is there are plenty of guides out there on how to get it working.

It’s a huge win for the Bloodborne community, especially after the official 30 Years Of PlayStation trailer basically teased us with a future entry but led to absolutely nothing.

Even FromSoftware staff have spoken up on how they’d like to revisit the game, and there’s even a demand for Bluepoint Studios to remake it as it did for Demon Souls.

Unfortunately though it’s up to Sony if it’ll ever happen or not, as it owns the publishing rights and seemingly isn’t interested in bringing it back anytime soon.

Personally I think it’d only really work as a remake for the PlayStation 5 or beyond, as a remaster wouldn’t be enough to justify a new release in my opinion unless it offered users an upgrade at a reduced price as it did for Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered.

A full-on remake would also open the door for a few quality-of-life improvements, namely the healing items being finite and I think some of the bosses could do with a touch-up as well in places.

Nevertheless, we finally have a stable version of Bloodborne to play on PC, that’s enough of a win a for the time being.
