Batman: Arkham Knight graphics overhaul makes it look like a PS6 game

Batman is looking good!

Batman: Arkham Knight has never looked better due to this amazing graphics overhaul that makes it look like a PS6 game.

Originally released in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Batman: Arkham Knight is considered to be one of the best superhero games of all time from the popular Rocksteady Studios series. Even by today’s standards, the game still looks incredible, despite being nearly a decade old at the time of writing.

“Live the complete Batman experience as the Dark Knight enters the concluding chapter of Rocksteady’s Arkham trilogy. Players will become The World’s Greatest Detective like never before with the introduction of the Batmobile and enhancements to signature features such as FreeFlow Combat, stealth, forensics and navigation,” reads the description of the game.

Sadly, Batman: Arkham Knight was the last great game from Rocksteady Studios considering the colossal flop that is Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which according to recent developments is pretty much dead at this point - and it only released in early 2024.

Regardless, at least we can revisit the Batman Arkham games wherever we want and hope that one day, Rocksteady Studios can return to its former glory, which may begin with a rumoured remake of Batman: Arkham Asylum.

What’s more, if you play the likes of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC, you can take advantage of the fantastic modding community. In a video showcased on the YouTube channel Digital Dreams, after implementing a series of mods, this 2015 game can quite easily be labelled as something worthy of being on a console like the PS6.

This version of Batman: Arkham Knight takes full advantage of ‘Beyond all Limits’ reshade software implementing glorious ray-tracing effects, powered by an NVIDIA RTX 4090. Oh, it runs at a 4K resolution and 60 frames per second too.

Watching this gameplay video makes me a bit jealous that I’m not a PC gamer. Batman: Arkham Knight is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
