Assassin’s Creed Origins has never looked better thanks to this new-gen remaster, and it’s a thing of beauty.
Released in 2018, in my humble opinion, Assassin’s Creed Origins is one of the best games in the popular Ubisoft series. It features a compelling story, and its setting in ancient Egypt provides some of the most stunning vistas in the franchise.
“Explore Ancient Egypt in this action-adventure game. Battle powerful enemies, unveil conspiracies, and discover the origin story of the Assassin’s Brotherhood,” reads the synopsis of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

“From deserts to lush oases, from the Mediterranean Sea to the tombs of Giza, sail down the Nile, and fight your way against dangerous ancient factions and wild beasts as you explore this gigantic and unpredictable land."
In 2022, Assassin’s Creed Origins received an official new-gen update on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, giving the game a native 60 frames-per-second boost.
However, this new-gen remaster on PC, showcased on the YouTube channel Digital Dreams, is absolutely stunning.
The new-gen remaster in question is powered by a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and NVIDIA RTX 5090 FE, resulting in a glorious 8K resolution at 60fps.
“The water physics were so underrated in this game. It was a masterpiece even on console,” said Scirollo in the comments section on YouTube.
“Amazing game. It’s one of the best of the Assassin’s Creed games, right behind Assassin’s Creed II. This looks so good!” exclaimed daviddougher8637.

“Really good job with the colour grading, gorgeous and vibrant!” praised ignatiousjasentes1658.
“Excellent work, friend, 8K really looks beautiful, I'm already leaving my like,” replied Marcosroberto-ku5yt.
Of course, you will need somewhat of a beast PC to get Assassin’s Creed Origins looking this good and performing so well. At the very least, we can marvel at its glory from afar.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is out now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
