Few Pokémon trainers need an excuse to carry on trying to catch 'em all.
But if you find yourself in need of another incentive, here's one in the form of a surprise free download.
Pokémon fans have already been surprised with a free classic game that'll help them work their way up to becoming a Pokémon Master.
Yet the surprises keep on coming.

Throughout the month of August, players can claim a free download via the magic of mystery gifts.
Before you close this article believing the freebie nothing more than a package of 10 potions (which is still worthwhile even if a bit underwhelming), this download is bigger.

By using the code L1KEAFLUTE, you’ll receive your very own Cetitan.
This ice type Pokémon was first introduced in Generation IX of the franchise, and while not exactly rare, it’s far easier to download it than catch one.
It doesn’t matter if you use the code now or before the end of the month, just so long as you claim Cetitan before 31 August.
There are plenty of other free downloads also available, though their time limits are far more generous.
This, combined with a recent announcement from Game Freak, have left fans hyped about the next RPG and the future of the franchise in general.
