With an estimated 122 Pokémon games released over the course of almost thirty-years and the franchise making its way to trading cards, board games, television shows and more, it is no wonder that its fans can’t get enough of the classic franchise.

Luckily for them, developers of the Pokémon series Game Freak have revealed that it is holding a massive recruitment event on 30 August.

With the developers reportedly only having around 200-250 employees, it is no wonder it is looking for some extra pair of hands.

The recruitment event will take place on 30 August via a Zoom webinar.

“This information session will delve deeper into the "management and leadership positions" at Game Freak,” the official announcement reads.

“This is a valuable opportunity to hear directly from management employees about the real situation on the job, including the scope of work, evaluation system, suitable personality type, and training!”

The company is looking for mid-career employees with roles including a planner, designer, project manager, programmer, technical artist and more.

Entry for the webinar is free and all you have to do to participate is head to the official website and fill in the entry form.

Around 100 candidates will be selected but you had better hurry as entries close on 27 August.

If you love Pokémon and have around 3-years of experience in the relevant job category, then don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

With plenty more Pokémon titles on the horizon such as Pokémon Legends Z-A, you could very much become a part of history!
