Animal Crossing Gamers Have One Last Chance To Grab 'Retiring' Releases

Got to act quickly!

The release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons really did do a lot to rejuvenate the cosy series, bringing the wonders of managing your own little town to a whole new generation of players who may not have been around in the glory days of the GameCube.

That was so much the case that Animal Crossing-related items started popping up all over the place, from official merchandise to licensed goodies from some of the biggest brands in the world.

Some of the best examples of that were several LEGO releases featuring iconic locations and characters from the game, all beautifully rendered in the company's patented tiny bricks.

As with almost all of their lines, however, some of the Animal Crossing sets are about to go out of circulation forever, meaning you don't have long to pick them up to add to your collection.

Animal Crossing LEGO Sets About to be Retired

As first posted by Gabriel over on Twitter/X, several Animal Crossing LEGO sets are about to be retired, usually meaning they won't be back (though there have been very occasional exceptions to this rule).

In total, seven sets are set to disappear, with the full list as follows:

  • Nook's Cranny & Rosie's House
  • Fly With Dodo Airlines
  • Isabelle's House Visit
  • K.K's Concert at the Plaza
  • Julian's Birthday Party
  • Kapp'n's Island Boat Tour
  • Bunnie's Outdoor Activities

All told, if you do get your hands on all of them, you'll essentially end up with your own complete Animal Crossing island, which is a pretty cool part of your collection if you're a fan of the games.

As part of their going away ceremony, several of the sets are reduced from their admittedly quite expensive recommended retail prices. Fly With Dodo Airlines is down to £19.19/$22.79, while the larger Isabelle's House Visit comes in at £27.99/$27.99. Bunnie's Outdoor Activities is very cheap at just $13.99/£10.79, though it is currently saying sold out in the US, with no confirmation of whether it will become available again before the set goes away.

Lastly, Kapp'n's Island Boat Tour comes in at just £14.99 on the UK site, a reduction of 40%.

LEGO hasn't given an exact date for when the sets are going away just yet, but they usually don't confirm retiring sets until a few months before. With that, it's safe to say that the Animal Crossing sets won't be available in 2026, so make sure to get everything you want before then.
