Animal Crossing free download available now for Nintendo Switch gamers

A bunch of Animal Crossing related freebies just got added to the Nintendo Switch, but you only have a limited amount of time to claim them before they disappear forever!

It’s that time of the month once more folks, because a bunch of free Nintendo Switch Online icons just dropped on the Nintendo Switch.

This month, they’re Animal Crossing themed, which I’m sure is extremely good news for both Animal Crossing and Super Smash Bros players worldwide.

This new round of Nintendo Switch Online Icons seems to be focusing on the specific villagers you can get in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it features some of the absolute best the series has to offer.

I mean, you can get icons for two of the best villagers in the entire series in this drop; Keaton the Hawk and Spike the Rhino. If you’re not a fan of either of those two, I’m sorry that you can’t appreciate the good things in life, like sassy, angry little animals.

As always, these won’t be sticking around forever. Based on how previous Nintendo Switch Online Icon drops have worked, you have roughly four weeks to claim these before they’re gone for good.

And I mean gone for good, by the way. Once Nintendo Switch Online Icons make their way through the Nintendo Switch storefront, they never seem to reappear ever again.

So, if there’s a villager in this list you simply must have, make sure you hop on ASAP and grab the icon you need before the end of June, unless you lose your chance to grab them permanently.

I, for one, will be grabbing that Keaton icon, post haste. God I love that sassy little hawk.
