Marvel officially announces Godzilla VS. Hulk

Who's the strongest there is?

In an exciting crossover, two radioactive monsters are about to clash as Godzilla takes on the Hulk.

As a fan of Godzilla and Marvel media alike I’m very excited for this, and I know other fans will be too as recently we saw Godzilla take down the DC comic universe, even wiping out Superman for a small duration.

Speaking of Superman, the man of steel is returning to our screens this year with a new film by James Gunn

Now he’s got his sights set on Marvel though, and there was only one character he could have feasibly picked a fight with, the Incredible Hulk.

The new crossover will be written by Gerry Dugan with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli, and you’ll be able to read it for yourself on 16 April later this year.

The plot is as follows, “General Ross has no tolerance for monsters in any form. With his anti-kaiju taskforce The Thunderbolts he’s taken down or imprisoned the biggest and baddest monsters on the planet: Fin Fang Foom, Mothra, Kumonga, even the Hulk. Now all that’s left is his biggest hunt of all…GODZILLA. But the Thunderbolts’ efforts to bring their last monster to heel may just result in the most destructive battle royale to ever rock the Earth. It’s time to figure out who’s really the strongest there is!”

Godzilla fighting the Hulk is a really interesting match-up too, as both are empowered by radiation.

This means the pair will likely grow stronger the more they fight each other, meaning the winner will simply be whoever can last the longest.

Let’s be real, Hulk is probably going to win but that doesn’t mean it won’t be an even fight for the most part.

You won’t want to miss this, it sounds like one the greatest duels Marvel has put out in years and we only need to wait until 16 April to see it unfold.
