If you think you know the Wasteland and how to survive it like the back of your hand, think again.

As one Fallout 4 player can attest, there are still game-changing tricks to be learnt.

Even though Bethesda has released other titles since Fallout 4, we can’t stop exploring this post-apocalyptic world.

And that was before the hype from Amazon’s hit show sent player numbers soaring.

Have you checked out Fallout 76: Milepost Zone? You really should

Fans are determined to find every concealed secret, like the one user who discovered a hidden bunker many of you will have missed.

If you go searching for the items it undoubtedly holds, you’ll want to check out this inventory trick that one player found after 1,000 hours of living as a Wastelander.

When user Kieran908 was informed that there’s a ‘sort button’ to help organise your ever growing inventory, they were amazed.

Redditor krag_the_Barbarian revealed this handy tip, which will hopefully prevent you from struggling for hundreds of hours as well.

“I didn't use the sort button in the menu until I started playing survival and needed to know what was weighing me down. Now I use it all the time,” they explained.

The same user had another tidbit of information to bestow upon their fellow fans.

“I also didn't know that settlers only have ammo for their basic gun,” they added, “If you mod a .38 and give it to a settler you have to supply ammo too, even if they use .38.”

The next time you’re arming your settlers, remember this vital piece of information to avoid a pile of bodies in your camp.

If you prefer the older titles from the series, like Fallout 3, before you return to its ravaged landscape make sure you know of the incredible secret lurking in the underground.

Every day is a school day when you’re a Fallout fan.
