Elden Ring publisher announces major freebie you could claim now

If you’ve been sitting on some golden Elden Ring content, now is the time to let it be known.

Despite the recent quiet tease for Elden Ring 2 as Shadow of the Erdtree looms in our periphery, there’s still much to be done in the original game.

And we don’t just mean searching for secrets like huge underground areas you’ve definitely missed in previous playthroughs.

Bandai Namco has launched the ‘Return to Grace’ competition, in which the publisher is looking to be wowed by its players in a video of their own making.

However, before you get too excited, there are some caveats you need to be aware of.

Firstly, this video contest is for US players only. We know, we know – it isn’t fair, but those are the official rules, we’re sad to say.

Secondly, that any submissions “have a video quality of 1080p or above”, as well as avoid the use of any mods.

And thirdly, your video needs to be “under five minutes” in length.

Undoubtedly, you’re wondering what that Elden Ring major freebie we mentioned is; it’s a statue of Messmer the Impaler. But not just any old statue: a life size one.

That’s the prize for ‘Best Trailer’. However, there are other rewards too, such as the Arm of Melania replica, also life size.

Oh, and there’s even the helmet of Messemer the Impaler up for grabs.
