Baldur's Gate 3 finally getting new mode we've been begging for

Baldur's Gate 3 finally getting new mode we've been begging for

Our prayers have been answered

You didn’t think it was over, did you? Oh no, Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t ready to release us from its iron grip just yet.

Each time we believe ourselves ready to call time on our Baldur’s Gate 3 playthroughs, Larian Studios swoops in with an update that changes everything.

Some of you have already started searching for new ways to change the experience, like with this huge download that sees the worlds of Elden Ring and BG3 collide.

We never tire of seeing the launch trailer for Baldur's Gate 3. Never

However, none of that gives us what this new mode does.

Let’s be honest, a lot of us are voyeuristic at heart when it comes to BG3. Sure, we try to deny it, but Larian has seen us all simping over the characters.

If, like me, you’ve been shipping Bloodweave hard since launch, the chance to take a screenshot of every little moment has been taken. Yet, something has been missing.

We’ve not been able to capture those precious moments unhindered by the game’s interface.

Well, now that’ll be a thing of the past thanks to photo mode.

Patch seven finally introduces photo mode, a feature we’ve been begging on our knees for since we witnessed the steamy moments of the game firsthand.

Oh yes! Now we’ll be able to “capture and share” our “unforgettable moments”.

There’s so much more to this update than this, though – there’s the chance to register for the closed beta of this patch, as well as watch new evil ending cutscenes, romance fixes for Wyll, and then some.

Basically, we’re going to be busy once this update goes live.

Can you imagine if Larian Studios made a Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake? It would be such an incredible experience, one that I hope becomes reality in the future.

Larian isn’t done with BG3 and neither are we, so stick around for the next update to see what new mischief we can make.
