Publishing giant EA have added the first wave of at least 25 games coming to Valve's Steam platform today, with a hefty sale on them thrown in for good measure.

The partnership between EA and Steam was announced back in October 2019 and allowed games from the publisher to be put up for sale (or in some cases returned to sale) on the gaming platform. Speaking in a statement, EA's Strategic Growth senior vice president Mike Blank said "We want to make it easy to play the games you love, wherever you want to play. Delivering games to the Steam community is an important step in achieving that goal."

So what games can you get right now? Well, a huge amount of EAs finest titles are available at a discounted price, including Dragon Age 2 (£8.99), Dragon Age: Inquisition GOTY Edition (£17.49), Need For Speed Heat (£23.99) and Burnout Paradise Remastered (£4.49) to name a but a few.

It's not just the new games that are on sale either. A lot of existing EA titles like the Crysis games are also benefiting from the discount.

But that's not all. Last year EA said it's EA Access subscription service would be coming to the platform, which is a promise they're appearing to make good on now. A banner on each of the game's pages indicates that the service is "coming soon to Steam" with "members [getting] exclusive trials, great games, and more."

Mike Blank continued in his statement, "not only are we excited to have our games on Steam, but we look forward to bringing them even more value when our subscription becomes available in the Summer."

While no word has been given on exactly how this will work on Steam, it's likely to be the same as it is on consoles. You stump up £3.99 a month or £19.99 for the entire year and get to fill your boots with EA games.

EA also said all its future games will be added to Steam (and Access) when they're released for PC, including the Command & Conquer Remastered Collection which is out today.
