Paris Hilton, businesswoman, actress and socialite was left feeling ‘sick’ following her parody in the animated series, South Park.

Making its debut way back in 1997, to this very day, the South Park series continues to push boundaries and it’s a reason why fans have kept coming back for over a quarter of a century. What’s more, it doesn't matter ethnicity, gender, religion, or physical ability, no topic is safe from South Park.

The episode that Paris Hilton refers to as making her ‘sick’ was in 2004, episode 12 of season eight entitled “Stupid Spoiled W**** Video Playset”. The episode poked fun at leaked celebrity sex tapes including one that featured the reality star.

As reported by our friends UNILAD, Hilton spoke about her portrayal in that South Park episode and how it impacted her well-being in her new book, Paris: The Memoir.

Hilton mentioned that the episode poster featured her face with the tagline: “‘Watch Paris die!'” and that she “didn’t mind that marketing approach,” adding “I wasn’t naïve about why they chose it.”

“I’m the title character, but they also apply that epithet to Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Tara Reid, and all the little girls who were fans, which upset me more than anything ugly they could say about me,” she continued.

“It also upsets me that the episode graphically portrays Tinkerbell [Hilton's pet dog] being shot and killed. The thought of that made me sick. I’ve been involved in some pretty edgy media, but I don’t even know where something like that comes from.”

What’s more, Paris Hilton also explained that she was subject to criticism from one-half of South Park’s creative team for not speaking up about the episode in question.

“When a journalist told Matt [Stone] about my muted red-carpet response, he said, ‘That shows how f***ed up she is,” she explained. “My not wanting to watch his cartoon about my dog being shot and me coughing up ejaculate — that’s evidence of how f***ed up I am.”

In related South Park news, it was announced back in 2021 that a 3D video game based on the series is in development by the series creators. It’s also rumoured that the game might be inspired by a classic FPS horror series.
