It’s been confirmed that Jennifer Walters will return this October in a “new era”, in the all-new Sensational She-Hulk series.

Jen Walters became the talk of the internet last year thanks to the release of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. The Disney+ series admittedly didn’t get the greatest reception from all of its viewers - the fourth wall-breaking, self-aware comedy series didn’t take itself too seriously a lot of the time, which, if you’re into that, was really fun. However, the 32% audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes proves that it wasn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Those who did stick it out got to see an incredible cameo in the final episode, though, as well as an on-screen romance between Matt Murdock (AKA Daredevil) and Jen - something which actor Charlie Cox was a big fan of.

Take a look at the trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law below.

While Disney is yet to confirm if a new season of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is ever going to happen, Marvel Comics will at least be filling the She-Hulk-shaped hole in our hearts with the upcoming comic series, Sensational She-Hulk (2023), which shouldn’t be confused with the 1989 series with the same title.

In an interview with Marvel.com, writer Rainbow Rowell was asked what’s so ‘sensational’ about She-Hulk in this series, to which she replied: “That word makes me think of the original Sensational She-Hulk from artist/writer John Byrne. It's a vibe, really: gorgeous art, gorgeous Jen, jokes, a feeling that anything can happen, and a focus on a Jen as a person, a woman. We were definitely inspired by that run in our previous issues, and we're leaning in even more with the new book. I want it to feel really smooth and buoyant, an ongoing celebration of Jen as a character.”

The first issue of Sensational She-Hulk (2023) is set to release on 18 October - don’t miss it.
