Few stealth games come close to mimicking the tension and action of Splinter Cell; it’s part of the reason it’s such a popular franchise.

Unfortunately for fans, new Splinter Cell experiences are in short supply.

Despite remaster rumours circulating, we’ve yet to see any official news that Sam will return.

Oh, how we wish waiting wasn’t an inevitable part of being a video games enthusiast.

GAMINGbible is unable to confirm or deny the existence of a remaster; however, we can introduce you to a stunningly realistic stealth game that functions as the next best thing.

Project TH, as it’s currently known, is still a work in progress. Nevertheless, while there’s no ETA for its launch date, the progress made thus far is promising.

We're already chomping at the bit to play Project TH

In this Metal Gear Solid collided with Splinter Cell world, you’ll play as Ji Jeong Tae.

With a military background, Ji Jeong Tae is a capable protagonist. Unfortunately, he’s troubled by strange headaches that seemingly only happen at crucial moments.

These headaches are seemingly “cured”, but with that comes a curious question of what’s really going on here.

All in all, we’d say that’s quite the setting for a thrillingly tense game.

We’re already sold on the idea, with the bonus of Squid Game’s Heo Sung-tae playing the villain of Project TH only furthering our interest.

Details still need ironing out over the months to come; Project TH isn’t ready, and thus it’ll likely undergo several transformations yet.

That being said, what we’ve seen in its gameplay demo trailer is packed full of potential.

If you’re looking for a way to play a Splinter Cell-style game without replaying the old Splinter Cell titles, Project TH is just the ticket.

Once it’s launched, that is.

Keep your eyes peeled for updates on when it’ll launch. We’ll try to keep you abreast of any new information as best we can.
