30-Year-Old Men Are Review-Bombing 'She-Hulk' Without Even Seeing It

Water is wet, too.

So, 30-year-old men are submitting their low review scores on IMDB for the first episode of Marvel's She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, thereby proving that time travel is real seeing as the first episode only released today.

I cannot express how tragic this is. I'm not even sure there's a word for the excruciating embarrassment that these dudes should feel for themselves. Critics have praised Tatiana Maslany's performance as the reluctant She-Hulk, and the grounded yet comedic writing compared to other Marvel shows, resulting in an enviable 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. While criticisms have been levelled at the show's struggle for uniqueness amongst the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, tired tropes, and the occasionally strange CGI, it's very apparent why these 30-year-old guys are scoring She-Hulk: Attorney at Law before they've even had the chance to see it for themselves.

Check out She-Hulk: Attorney At Law’s latest trailer ahead of the premiere today!

Reddit user Zjan spotted that She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is received much more negatively on IMDB than Rotten Tomatoes, leading them to investigate the discrepancy. If you sort the ratings by demographic, it's evidently men in their 30s and 40s that are the reason why the average score has been dragged down compared to the opinion of women and those in their teens or 20s.

"I wish these sites would do more to control these situations but the idiots bombing it don’t realize they’re effectively creating their own Streisand effect which will make people want to watch it lol," said one commenter. "Imagine how insecure and inept these people must be to be getting a sense of satisfaction from giving a show they don't like the idea of a bad rating," added another. Exactly.
