MCU fans blown away by Spider-Man's surprise return

Perhaps it was inevitable, but fans are still surprised and excited to see Spider-Man make a return to video games with his No Way Home suit.

Marvel Rivals took to social media to announce that Spidey will be appearing in the game, on launch, in the popular suit he wears in the final film of the trilogy.

We got a sneak peek at Moon Knight earlier this month as he makes his way to Marvel Rivals.

Showcased on Twitter, the suit looks superb, with the dark accents and gold trim, and it will be available when the game launches on 6 December.

Fans are understandably excited.

“Yeah this slaps,” said one fan in reply to the tweet.

Another comments, “So far I have loved everything I’ve seen about this game.”

I’ve found myself very excited about the game to return after I played during the beta earlier this year.

While I initially found it a bit lacking, when I eventually got into some games with a friend, we had a blast.

The Overwatch gameplay with Marvel characters worked after I learned which characters I liked the most.

The tweet from the game’s official account was trying to hype up fans by recapping No Way Home.

“Doing the right thing is not always easy, and Peter Parker knows that better than anyone. When he lost his family, and his friends forgot he existed, the only path to tread was forward!”

Now Spider-Man will don that suit and fight alongside other heroes in the upcoming release.

While the fans are happy, there are plenty of them asking for other suits - which seems another inevitability.

One eager fan said, “PLEASE DO THE FINALE SUIT, PLEASE DO THE FINALE SUIT, PLEASE DO THE FINALE SUIT!!!”

“Please do The Amazing suit too,” said another.

We’d imagine that when Marvel Rivals picks up steam, we’ll see a lot of comic accurate costumes in battle passes and for purchase via the shop.
