FIFA 23 may well be the last FIFA game released alongside EA Sports, but it's clear that the publisher intends to go out with a bang. Or bangers, to be more specific.

Tomorrow (November 9), EA Sports is set to drop the massive FIFA World Cup update for FIFA 23. The new The World Cup mode will work much the same as previous modes based on the global competition have. Expect to be able to play as all 32 competing teams, along with new stadiums and kits. Basically, it's great for those of you who want to play along with the real World Cup at home and pretend, if only for a second, that England could actually win it all.

While all this is well and good, the most exciting new feature by far is a huge new playlist of songs. The FIFA franchise has long been known for including some of the best new music around. Have you even been to a party if at least one pissed-up bloke doesn't sidle up to you and tell you how he discovered Bloc Party after playing FIFA 14?

The FIFA 23 World Cup update will include what EA Sports is calling the "ultimate" FIFA soundtrack, including some of the biggest and best songs from across the series' history.

Highlights include Blur, Fatboy Slim, Muse, Major Lazer, and Billie Eilish - but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Take a look at the full list of tracks below!

🎵📝 Here it is: The #UltimateFIFASoundtrack track list coming to #FIFA23 on November 9 along with the FIFA World Cup update❗

If you can't wait till tomorrow to experience the full tracklist in FIFA 23, you can head over to Spotify right now and give it a listen. I can't think of any better way to kick off the World Cup, frankly.
